Massanutten Military Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Quantico at Homecoming at 6:00 PM. Quantico will be strutting in after a win while Massanutten Military Academy will be stumbling in from a defeat.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-43, which was the final score in Massanutten Military Academy's tilt against Northern Virginia HomeSchool Athletics Association two weeks ago. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, Quantico have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Richmond Christian 14-12. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
Massanutten Military Academy took a serious blow against Quantico the last time the two teams met, falling 0-56. Can Massanutten Military Academy avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
