Lycee Francais de Chicago fell 65-54 to Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus. While Lycee Francais de Chicago didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus 15-9 in the first quarter.

Lycee Francais de Chicago's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jordie Machara, who went 10 for 22 on his way to 26 points and three steals, and Bonheur Balita, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Machara's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sidy Doumbouya, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Even though they lost, Lycee Francais de Chicago smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, North Shore Country Day was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They were dealt a 56-27 loss at the hands of Carmel. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Raiders have suffered since December 10, 2024.

Lycee Francais de Chicago's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-3. As for North Shore Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
