Caldera lost against the North Eugene Highlanders back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Caldera was the victim of a tough 75-51 loss at the hands of North Eugene. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Caldera has scored all season.
It was another big night for India Mohiuddin, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and five assists for North Eugene. Mohiuddin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Elias McKinnis, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Caldera and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for North Eugene, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Caldera will be home for the holidays to greet Henley at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Henley is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. North Eugene will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Putnam at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th.
