Clever had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past the St. James Tigers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-13. The victory was familiar territory for the Blue Jays, who have now won three contests in a row.

Kendall Piper was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 52 yards and a pair of scores.

Clever's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for St. James, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
