It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Faustina Academy Falcons had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Community Christian on the road to the tune of 56-6. Considering Faustina Academy has won six contests by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Damian Sipe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 100 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also catching a touchdown. Will Behan was another key contributor, picking up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The victory makes it two in a row for Faustina Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Community Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Faustina Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Methodist Children's Home. Methodist Children's Home has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 295 points over their last five contests. Community Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
