Meanwhile, Kaufer entered their tilt with La Villa on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cardinals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Seahawks have posted against the Cardinals since October 9, 2020.
Ben Bolt better keep an eye on Emma Valenzuela. She was instrumental in Kaufer's win, getting 16 kills, seven digs, four aces, and one block. Valenzuela is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Butler, who had 12 digs, five kills, and three aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Kaufer was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in six consecutive matchups.
Kaufer's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Ben Bolt, their win bumped their record up to 6-17.
Ben Bolt might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Kaufer when the teams last played back in September. Will the Badgers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more volleyball content.
