Softball Recap: Whitesboro Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Whitesboro strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Proctor Raiders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Whitesboro pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Proctor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Whitesboro is set to take on their familiar foe New Hartford at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Proctor will challenge rival Rome Free Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
