Fans got a thrill when Jake Wright and Dan Good connected against Caseville. The longest such play in Mid-Michigan (8 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 52 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Akron-Fairgrove beat Dryden 36-26. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Vikings.
Akron-Fairgrove's Kyle Aldrich and Dakota Biddle led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-8 quarterback Aldrich has thrown for 1,280 yards this season, while Biddle has 17 catches for 446 yards. Quinn Smith from Owendale-Gagetown leads the league in rushing with 2,130 yards.
The Bulldogs took down the Eagles 72-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Smith ran for 319 yards during the win.
