The Kim/Branson Mustangs won the last time they faced the Hanover Hornets, and things went their way on Thursday too. Kim/Branson walked away with a 32-20 win over the Hornets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kim/Branson.
Kim/Branson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kennedy Cranson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cranson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Charlee Buhrle, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.
Kim/Branson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Hanover, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Primero the next time they take the court. Hanover will host Primero at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Kim/Branson will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
