After losing to Mt. Rainier the last time they met, Kennedy Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Kennedy Catholic Lancers walked away with  a   59-47  win over the Mt. Rainier Rams  on Thursday. The  victory was nothing new for the Lancers as they're now sitting on four straight.
 Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Owen Brown, who  went 5 of 10  on his way to 12  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tanner Simpson, who  went 5 for 9  on his way to 11  points and three  steals.
Kennedy Catholic has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Mt. Rainier,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-5.
 Kennedy Catholic will challenge Stadium at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Mt. Rainier, they will welcome Kentridge  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Kentridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last three contests.
