While Park Hill South didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Poplar Bluff Mules with a sharp 12-2 victory on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Park Hill South has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Poplar Bluff, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Park Hill South will host Lee's Summit West at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Poplar Bluff, they will challenge Brookland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
