Adding to the longest winning streak in 2A District 5 this week, Meeker beat Hugo 49-20. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Bulldogs.
Meeker took down the Buffaloes 49-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jake Standlee threw for 100 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 32 yards during the win.
Mike Hedge's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Tim Whitfield chipped in 127 yards. Levi Bagwell helped Meeker's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 31 yards.
The Bulldogs' dynamic duo of Standlee and Brandon Hanebutt proved to be unstoppable against Hugo, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bagwell helped Meeker's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 31 yards.
Haskell's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Haymakers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brody Enkey has thrown for 814 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Dillon Dobbins has 31 catches for 403 yards.
Dallas Jackson of the Meeker is just 68 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 69 carries Jackson has accumulated 932 yard this year.
Okemah and Panama played the closest game in the league this week, with Okemah eventually emerging with a 26-21 victory.
