Several Colonels players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Quentin Stauber, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stauber has scored all season. Phillips' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.8 points per game. As for Francis W. Parker, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phillips will take on Dyett at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dyett has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Francis W. Parker, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mather at 6:30 p.m. Mather knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Francis W. Parker likes a good challenge.
