Kwan Brooks of Monroe Area ran for the longest rushing play in AAAA Region 8 this season against Oconee County last week. Brooks scampered for 91 yards on the play and finished with 157 on the day as his team topped the Warriors.
Stanton Truitt and Michael Gallup provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Oconee County. The connection went for 75 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
