Softball Recap: Madison Has No Trouble Against Baltic

Madison waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Baltic. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for Madison this season.

Madison pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Baltic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Madison will challenge Sioux Falls Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Baltic, they will welcome Florence/Henry at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
