The Clyde Fliers will challenge the Norwalk Truckers at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Clyde has given up an average of 34.2  points per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
On Friday, Clyde had to suffer through  a    49-20 loss at the hands of Columbian. The Fliers gained 159 more yards on the day, but it was the Tornadoes that made the best use of them.
 Loss or not, Clyde got some senior leadership from  Jonathan Lantz and  Adam Young.  Lantz rushed for 82 yards on only ten carries, while  Young rushed for 89 yards and one  touchdown.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Norwalk). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  31-28  victory over Sandusky  on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Truckers considering their three-point performance the  contest before.
 Clyde's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Norwalk, their  win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-6.
 Everything came up roses for Clyde against Norwalk when the teams last played  back in October of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  34-0 victory. Do  the Fliers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Truckers turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
