They had to suffer through a rough 63-28 loss at the hands of Christian Academy. Williamsburg Academy has struggled against Christian Academy recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Williamsburg Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Conrad Balder. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points.
Williamsburg Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-1. As for Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Williamsburg Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oakbrook Prep at 3:00 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Oakbrook Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday. As for Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Carolina Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
