Academy recap Nov. 7, 2012
St. Margaret's extended the longest winning streak in Academy this week by beating Sage Hill, 44-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
St. Margaret's took down the Lightning 44-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Brethren Christian's Jack McInally and Austin Gorrell have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. McInally has thrown for 762 yards this season, while Gorrell, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 14 catches for 266 yards. Joe Melita from Sage Hill leads the league in rushing with 497 yards.
Rod Baltau's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Gregory Tolver's team.
