Nicholas Aragon Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Dove Creek's Nicholas Aragon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Aragon rushed for 83 yards on only ten carries, and also picked up 31 receiving yards.

While Norwood might've come up empty on Saturday, Owen Tackett wasn't going down without a fight. Tackett was dynamite, picking up 101 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Norwood dropped their record down to 1-1 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Tackett and Norwood will square off against Plateau Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Rounding off our Top Five is Kaiden Wyatt of Mancos. Wyatt rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns.
Wyatt might have his next game, a road matchup with Merino, circled on his calendar. When Wyatt last faced the Rams back in September of 2023, he made 15 total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
