The Dominion Academy Sabers lost against the Calvary Christian Spartans back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Dominion Academy was beaten by Calvary Christian 64-30. Dominion Academy was down 52-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Leading Calvary Christian to victory were Wyatt Schlatter and Philip Davie. Schlatter scored 23 points, while Davie scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. Evan Patton was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight assists and four steals.
Dominion Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Calvary Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Immaculate Conception Academy the next time they take the court. Calvary Christian will head out to face Immaculate Conception Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, while Dominion Academy will host them at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.
