The St. Catherine's Saints will square off against the Trinity Episcopal Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Catherine's is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
St. Catherine's is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: Christchurch School, who was ranked 13th at the time (St. Catherine's was ranked first). The Saints walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Seahorses on Thursday. Those four runs were actually the fewest the Saints have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Jenna Keefer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up ten Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.5 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, Izzy Viruet was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Jordan Morey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: St. Catherine's lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, Trinity Episcopal was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of Bishop Ireton by a score of 3-2.
Trinity Episcopal also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Cooper Beatty gave up three earned runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks. Beatty has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Trinity Episcopal saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ainsley McNeer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Another was Lucia Fischi, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
Trinity Episcopal now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Catherine's, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. St. Catherine's hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Trinity Episcopal struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
St. Catherine's got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Trinity Episcopal by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
