The biggest upset of the week belonged to Munster, who took down 124th ranked Munster, 27-25.
Kankakee Valley extended the longest winning streak in Northwest Crossroads this week by beating North Judson-San Pierre, 49-18. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Kougars.
The Mustangs' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Trace McCarthy threw for 51 yards and Ernest Carter had 60 yards receiving. On the ground Carter chipped in 96 yards. Seth Gutwein helped Munster's passing attack out by catching one ball for 10 yards.
Munster's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. McCarthy has thrown for 240 yards this season, while Anthony Conroyd has three catches for 103 yards. Carter leads the league in rushing with 308 yards.
Griffith and Munster played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Griffith eventually emerging with a 27-25 victory.
