Given Milwaukee Lutheran's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Falcons are ranked 321st), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Makhai Jewell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and 0 assists. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Allen, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Milwaukee Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Brown Deer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
