Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their 33rd straight  loss  dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a   66-39 loss at the hands of the Aquinas Fightin' Irish. One positive for the Patriots, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
 Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Nevaeh Glover, who  posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was  Makayla Bridges, who  had 11  points.
Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Aquinas,  with the  victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-9.
 Westside will face off against Cross Creek at 5:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Cross Creek will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Westside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Aquinas, they will challenge Harlem at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
