Will Edwards was a major factor in Greenfield's win over Madison on Thursday. Edwards was dialed in as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. He played a big game the last time he faced Madison back in April of 2024, so the team probably should've seen him coming. Edwards has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
