Lewiston is 2-8 against Lake City since March of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bengals will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Timberwolves at 2:00 p.m. Lake City took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lewiston, who comes in off a win.
Lewiston had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Minico on Saturday. The Bengals blew past the Spartans 10-1. The Bengals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Cal Robbins made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Robbins was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those RBI were his first of the season.
In other pitching news, Grady Kennedy looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

Back at the plate, Ty Collins and Guy Krasselt did most of the damage at the plate: Collins went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Krasselt went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave Collins a new career-high. Jackson Casey also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Lewiston hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Lake City came up short against Eagle on Saturday, falling 10-1.
Lake City also got a good showing from Aven Adams, who pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Adams has allowed since back in April of 2025.
At the plate, Lake City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marek Parson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple.
Lewiston's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Lake City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
