The Oakwood Lumberjacks will head out on the road to challenge the Franklin Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Oakwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Franklin likes a good challenge.
Oakwood pushed their score all the way to 70 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 87-70 to Brookville. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Clark, who scored five points along with two steals and two blocks.
Oakwood's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-4. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Oakwood against Franklin in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 81-53 victory. Does Oakwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Franklin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
