St. Ansgar won the last time they faced Nashua-Plainfield, and things went their way on Friday, too. St. Ansgar steamrollered Nashua-Plainfield 51-0. Followers of St. Ansgar probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
The victory bumped St. Ansgar's record up to 4-1. Nashua-Plainfield are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week St. Ansgar take on Hudson at 7:00 PM. Each team will be battling to keep a win streak alive as St. Ansgar skips in on three wins and Hudson on five. Nashua-Plainfield will be staying on the road, facing off against South Winneshiek. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
