Those 345 passing yards set a new season-high mark for Vincent. Another player making a difference was Leo Williams, who picked up 112 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Rock Hill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Donyae Williams, Jackson Leslie, and David Osei picked up one apiece. Leslie has been hot, having also posted six or more total tackles the last five times he's played.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Guyer on Thursday. They never let Braswell get on the board and left with a 42-0 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bengals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Guyer's win came from a few key players Rock Hill will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Zephyr Kreye, who threw for 101 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground. Kaedyn Cobbs handled things on the ground, rushing for 87 yards.
Guyer's run defense was locked in: Braswell could only muster -0.5 yards per carry. While two picked up at least six total tackles, Darrien Neal stood above the rest. He made six total tackles (3.0 for loss). Guyer's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.5.
Rock Hill now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Guyer, their record is now 8-2.
Rock Hill took a serious blow against Guyer in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, falling 42-14. Thankfully for the Blue Hawks, Ahmed Yussuf (who rushed for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
