After flying high against the Temple Baptist Academy Royal Crusaders  last Thursday, South Haven Christian came back down to earth. South Haven Christian was beaten by Horizon Christian Academy 58-26 on Friday. South Haven Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  30-10.
 Despite the loss, South Haven Christian still got an impressive performance from   Aliya Gagliano, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 12  rebounds. Gagliano is absolutely dominating the  rebound category: she's  posted at least eight every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Josie Gillilan, who  scored five points.
 Horizon Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman  Nyla Black, who  scored 31 points along with eight  steals and seven  rebounds. Black hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games.  Katie Beckstrom was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with five  rebounds.
 South Haven Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
 South Haven Christian and West Florida Baptist Academy will face off  at 9:00  a.m.  on January 13th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. West Florida Baptist Academy is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Horizon Christian Academy, Horizon Christian Academy and Christian Community will face off  at 12:00  p.m.  on January 13th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.
