LeRoy never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Okaw Valley on Wednesday. They never let the Timberwolves get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Kobe Brent was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. He has become a key player for LeRoy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise.

LeRoy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Okaw Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-14-1 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LeRoy will venture away from home to take on Maroa-Forsyth at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Okaw Valley, they will head out to square off against Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Timberwolves are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
