Maconaquah hasn't had much luck against Mississinewa recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Braves will head out on the road to face off against the Indians at 5:30 p.m. Maconaquah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
Maconaquah took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against North Miami by a score of 5-2.

Bennett Isenburg made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last five games. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Chase Washburn was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kobe Bowman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Mississinewa came out on top against Frankton on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Indians put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 9-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.
Kenny Ayala spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Bryson Vasquez, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Thompson, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Maconaquah's record is now 14-9. As for Mississinewa, their record now sits at 12-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Maconaquah has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mississinewa struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Maconaquah couldn't quite finish off Mississinewa in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Braves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
