Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Medford). Everything went their way against the Rhinelander Hodags on Tuesday as they made off with a 20-2 victory. Considering the Raiders have won seven matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Rylee Hraby made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Addison Brahmer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Zayleah Leonhardt was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Medford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .529. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The win (which was Medford's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Rhinelander, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 3.3, the Indians 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
