The Shamrocks outpaced the rest of the league this week, as their three total wins led the league. Yuma Catholic beat
San Pasqual Valley 19-0, the Warriors 18-0 and
Tonopah Valley 17-0.
Rancho Solano Prep still leads the league with just one base hit given up over the entire season, but
Veritas Prep gave up the fewest hits in the league over the past week (negative two).
The Mustangs had a league-high 17 steals as a team this week, but still trail the Cougars, which has 35 on the year, for the season lead.
16 batters hit over .400 this week. Leading the pack was Dane Hanson, who hit 1.500 by going 3-for-2.

Joey Miranda finished his week with nine hits, the best slugger in the league. On the season, he's hitting .500 and ranks third in the league with 15 hits.
Matt Tate drove in four runners on Monday in Phoenix Christian's 12-2 victory over
Valley Lutheran. He went 2-for-3 and scored two runs.
Yuma Catholic's
Zach Boehler threw four shutout innings in a 17-0 win over the Phoenix on Thursday. He struck out four, allowing one hit.
