Basketball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science Victorious

Carver High School of Engineering & Science lost to North Penn back in January of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Carver High School of Engineering & Science escaped with a win against the North Penn Knights by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Carver High School of Engineering & Science.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sahin Rodriguez, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds. The matchup was Rodriguez's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt McField, who posted 11 points along with six steals and five assists.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for North Penn, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science will venture away from home to challenge Springside Chestnut Hill Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carver High School of Engineering & Science is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.5 points per game this season. As for North Penn, they will host Central Bucks West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
