Colin Ames was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise. Ames was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.
