Wayne waltzed into their matchup on Sunday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 51-47 W against the Columbus Academy Vikings. Those 51 points were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Wayne's record is now 5-1. As for Columbus Academy, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne will finish 2025 at home by hosting Elder at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbus Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bishop Ready at 1:30 p.m. on January 3, 2026.
