After losing to the Hardin Northern Polar Bears the last time they met, the Ridgedale Rockets decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Ridgedale enjoyed a cozy 45-28 victory over Hardin Northern on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ridgedale.
Hardin Northern's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Heidi Trachsel, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three blocks, and Catherine Overs who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Ridgedale has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Hardin Northern, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Ridgedale will head out on the road to take on Elgin at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Hardin Northern, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arcadia at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arcadia presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hardin Northern in Ohio (Arcadia is ranked 215th, while Hardin Northern is ranked 771st).
