Elida extended their winning streak to ten on Friday, bumping their season record up to 11-5 in the process. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 18-16 victory over Defiance. This was payback for Elida, who suffered a 6-5 loss the last time these two teams met.
