It was a good run, but the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Monday. They suffered a rough 43-17 defeat at the hands of Grace Christian Academy. Unity Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-6.
Natalie Dalton was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds for Grace Christian Academy. Dalton hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Miranda Glenn, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Unity Christian Academy's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-2. As for Grace Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unity Christian Academy will square off against College Prep of America at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Momence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
