Volleyball Recap: Point Pleasant Gets the Win

Point Pleasant won the last time they faced Wahama and things went their way on Thursday too. The Big Blacks walked away with a 2-0 win over the White Falcons.

Point Pleasant never let Wahama on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23.

Macy Taylor paced Point Pleasant's offense, picking up six kills. Taylor got some help from Abby Woodall and her eight assists. Lyndee Taylor controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Wahama and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Point Pleasant and Wahama will both be playing Riverside the next time they take the court. The White Falcons will head out to face the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Big Blacks will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
