Crystal Lake Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Crystal Lake South Gators a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.

Crystal Lake Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Crystal Lake South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-24.
