Freeman came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Lakeside Eagles. 12 seems to be a good number for the Scotties as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Freeman pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lakeside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeman will host Liberty at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Scotties are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Lakeside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Almira-Coulee-Hartline at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs in their last eight matches.
