Hoover really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 77-yard run.  Eli Woomer also helped out with an impressive 93  receiving yards.
 Meanwhile, Penns Valley Area was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight  loss  dating back to last season. The  game between them and Somerset wasn't particularly close, with Penns Valley Area falling  56-42. While the Rams had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Eagles  14-7.
 The  win made it two in a row for Tyrone and  bumps their season record up to 4-4. As for Penns Valley Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
 Everything came up roses for Tyrone against Penns Valley Area when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, as the  team secured  a  35-7 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Penns Valley Area's  Ty Watson, who rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Now that he won't be playing  on Friday, will it be easier for Tyrone to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
