The Pasco Pirates were the 56-44 winner over the Hudson Cobras when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Pasco took a 51-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hudson on Monday. That's two games in a row now that Pasco has lost by exactly nine points.
Pasco's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sidney Allen, who scored 13 points. Allen scored a full 31% of Pasco's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Williams, who scored 2 points along with 7 steals.
Tejacion Chapman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hudson, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 19 rebounds. The matchup was Chapman's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Pasco now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Hudson, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Pasco will head out on the road to face off against Zephyrhills at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hudson, they will be playing at home against Anclote at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
