The Boyertown Bears will head out on the road to square off against the Upper Perkiomen Indians at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Boyertown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
Boyertown came out on top against Norristown on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run third inning. The Bears were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Eagles. The contest marked the Bears' most dominant win of the season.
Ella Lee made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Lee was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Boyertown got a massive performance out of Jenna Fox, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Aubrey Kern was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Upper Perkiomen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-5 to Upper Merion Area.
Eva McCormick made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Maddie Deeble, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Boyertown is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Upper Perkiomen, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1.
Boyertown got the 'W' in their previous meeting on Thursday against Upper Perkiomen by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
