Jacoby Newman Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Northeastern had to settle for second even though Jacoby Newman put up the best numbers he has all season. Newman picked up 176 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards.
Northeastern's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-4. Newman will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against West Jefferson on Friday.
