Tracy is 9-0 against West since November of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Tracy Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Wolfpack at 7:15 p.m. Hopefully Tracy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than West in California (Tracy is ranked 90th, while West is ranked 612th).
Tracy stacked a third blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They came out on top against Lodi by a score of 42-14 (the very same score they lost by the week prior). The victory was just what Tracy needed coming off of a 42-14 defeat in their prior game.
It was another big night for Aidan VanOs, who threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Daniel Chavez was another key contributor, picking up 75 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, West's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Lincoln at home and fell 57-6. West was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-0.
Tracy's win was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 7-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.8 points per game. As for West, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Everything came up roses for Tracy against West in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 48-7 win. Will Tracy repeat their success, or does West have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
