Avon Park's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Lake Placid, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.
Avon Park beat Lake Placid 60-48 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Avon Park since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
