Meanwhile, Rains can now show off 18 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They breezed by Chisum at home to the tune of 65-34. With Rains ahead 40-17 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Grand Saline has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season. As for Rains, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 28-2.
Grand Saline took a serious blow against Rains in their previous meeting on January 2nd, falling 61-25. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Grand Saline was down 31-10.
